Friday, June 20
Paws, Purrs, and Pride
Stop by San Antonio Animal Care Services for $25 adoptions and receive a free pair of tickets to the Pride Bigger Than Texas Festival. Then, treat your new furry companion with a toy from Bark Box's wonderfully ludicrous Pride collection. The promotion lasts through June 23.

Pride Week Kick Off
Gather at the rainbow crosswalks to help dedicate the new Pride Cultural Heritage District. The official proceedings include speeches and performances, and, c'mon, the bars are right there.

A Hot Summer Night
Yes, we know. Wearing polyester in the thick of June is a tall order, but if drag queens can wear three layers of pantyhose, locals can don a gaudy shirt for this dance celebrating disco's sparkliest divas at Woodlawn Pointe. No last names are required. DJ Pete Rendon's set will be all Diana, Donna, and Cher.

Out at the Tobin Pride Brunch
Canada's Drag Race host Brooke Lynn Hytes headlines the Tobin Center's fiercest annual tradition. Hosted by local legend Kristi Waters, the 18-and-up brunch will feature performances from Kylie and Reign La Rue and a lavish spread from Tobin executive chef Armando Lopez.

Family Pride Picnic
Travis Park United Methodist Church invites all families to roll out a blanket during this community picnic at Woodlawn Lake Park. The festivities will include a farmers market, carnival games, and a bounce house. Food trucks will be on-site, but guests can bring their own baskets. Extra points if you bring your own serving platters.

Sunday, June 22
Queer Voices Pachanga
The Esperanza Peace and Justice Center's annual party makes space for a resource fair, a gender-affirming clothing swap, and a spiritual blessing from San Antonio's Cuir Curanderas. Stay into the evening for a sparkling showcase of drag, burlesque, poetry, and live music.

Monday, June 23
San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce Pride Series
Hear crucial LGBTQ-plus voices during a series of panels and talks held from June 23-27. Topics include an overview of the Texas legislative session, wellness, queer veterans, and allyship.

Our Stories, Our Power: A Night of Storytelling & Inspiration with NBA Trailblazer Jason Collins
Collins didn't only break barriers as the National Basketball Association's first out star; he was the first publicly gay athlete to compete in any of the four North American pro sports leagues. Hear his inspiring story at this Frost Bank Center appearance.

Plaza Pride Pool Party
Cool off before heading to Crockett Park for the festival. Plaza San Antonio has partnered with The Pride Center on a splashy day party with colorful pool floaties, themed cocktails, temporary tattoos, and hair braiding.
1-4 pm. Free for guests, non-guests must purchase a pool pass starting at $30.
Pride Bigger Than Texas Festival
Wrestling! A huge queer wedding! Larger-than-life performers! The official Pride festival turns Crockett Park into a rainbow wonderland.
11 am-7 pm. $15.
Pride Bigger Than Texas Night Parade
It's not just an excuse to hoot and holler. San Antonio's Pride parade raises funds for some of San Antonio's hardest-working nonprofits, including the San Antonio Gender Association, Fiesta Youth, the Diversity Recovery Alliance, and the San Antonio AIDS Foundation.

Sunday, June 29
High Pride Pool Party
Recover from the sweaty parade with a plunge into InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk's rooftop pool. The event features tunes from DJ Tone, specialty cocktails, food specials, and more.

Pride Wrap Party & Drag Show
Take a disco nap in the afternoon, then wrap up the weekend with drag performances curated by uber-host Kristi Waters. The evening at Kimpton Santo's Tenfold Rooftop ends early, so no excuses.
